Whether you are a longtime member or just getting started, this meeting will set the stage for an incredible year ahead. We'll also have time to socialize and sample some yummy refreshments.

Collecting Seeds From Your Garden
Debbie Anderson, Master Gardener & Sandwich Garden Club Member, will present how to collect seeds from different types of plants: annuals, perennial, biennials, fruits and vegetables. In addition, she will explain how to dry seeds and how to store them for future sowing. We're excited for your to learn these skill so you can plant next year's garden economically using seeds you've gathered yourself, and perhaps you can also help stock the club's booth with seed packets to give away during SandwichFest--help yourself and help a neighbor, too!

Insect pests have been plaguing gardeners for as long as humans have tended plants. Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is a method by which people seek to control pests by multiple means and angles. Through research and understanding of a given pest problem and its severity, gardeners can assess different methods of control themselves, like environmental changes, physically removing pests, or chemical applications based on their needs.
