Thank you all for making our SGC Christmas party so much fun last night. Thanks to Pete and Lisa Santero for providing such a wonderful meal and to everyone who made the evening possible, especially Catherine and Stuart who shared their warm and lovely home with us. I feel so lucky to know all of you and have the opportunity to share some holiday joy together. Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year. ❤️ Beth

Here are some of the beautiful creations made by our members!
We were also treated to mini-classes in how to press flowers and decoupage pumpkins. Thank you to our instructors and to those who contributed decorative elements. It's so fun to share and learn from each other.

Cranberry Bog

Cranberry Bog Tour,
October 23, 2023

"Our group totalled 15, including club members and some guests. Patty, our guide, did a great job; she was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. It seems that cranberry farming is as iffy as any other farming (they lost a whole bog to a frost last May). We even had the chance to walk into the bog and pick a few berries. Did you know that the bog behind Scenic Roots, where we were today, is the oldest bog on the Cape?"

Cochato Nursery, September '23
"On September 10th, although a sunny day would have been vastly preferable, a diehard contingent of a couple dozen Sandwich Garden Club members made the trek to Cochato Nursery in Holbrook. Surprisingly, in spite of the rain, we had fun and learned a few things about garden design and plants. Sue and Chuck were so amazingly generous to us and their gardens are beautiful. If you want a fun day trip, they're less than 90 minutes away. Please tell them that the Sandwich Garden Club sent you." ~ Beth Hearn
